Meet Our Rector

Welcome to Trinity Church!  I’m so glad you found us.  We are a growing, diverse congregation filled with people of all ages and backgrounds.  Many have referred to us as the little church with the big heart… and that is really accurate!  We are people who love God and love each other and take really good care of one another.

I’ve been the Rector at Trinity for a few years now and can tell you that our Mission to Invite, Inspire and Serve Christ in All people is the real thing.  I believe that all people have an innate need for a relationship with their creator and seek that relationship continually in one way or another throughout their life.  My call as a priest is to help people recognize that desire and help them to enter and deepen a meaningful relationship with God so that their life is one that has meaning and purpose.  I have found that many folks are really looking for a sense of community and support – which is why I think social media is so popular.  We are looking for a place to belong.  With as transient as our society has become, churches may be one of the remaining places where a sense of community can be found and face to face meaningful interactions still happen on a deep level.

When you step in to Trinity’s church, you will feel the warmth.  There is a genuine excitement among those who are here.  We are flawed people who are doing our best to make a difference in the world and are following God to the best of our ability.  We host several local outreach activities including our Backpack Blessing program and our monthly community meal for those in need.

Please know you are invited to be a part of this wonderful community.  We’d love for you to join us any Sunday.  If you come, and this isn’t the kind of church you are looking for, we’d be happy to help you find the place that is.  The most important thing is for you to find a place that helps you deepen your relationship with God and a place where you find a loving, supportive community.

I’m looking forward to meeting you.
